Andrew Heitmann 350 Games
This weekend Andrew Heitmann will take to the field and achieve a very rare milestone. He will become only the second player in the club's history to reach 350 two day equivalent games. This is 700 Saturday's worth of cricket. Truly remarkable from a true great of out club. His list of achievements both on and off the field is enormous and his contribution to both PAOCCC and community cricket in general is immeasurable. Congratulations Heito and remember, no pain, no pain.

Vale Andrew Trevor Bennett 1967-2024
It is with deep sadness that PAOCCC advise of the passing of Andrew Bennett. ‘Benno’ arrived at the club as scorer at the beginning of the 2016/17 season despite never having scored before. Benno had an illustrious career in baseball in his earlier days, even representing Australia but cricket was new to him. Despite having never scored previously, he worked hard and became a valued member of the club in the role he continued in for seven seasons.
During his time scoring, Benno served for three seasons on the committee from 2017/18 and he very much enjoyed helping to organise social functions including quiz nights and in particular serving as head chef at several Test Match Brunch BBQ’s at Park 9. Benno also spent several seasons assisting the club as net manager, taking the pressure off coaches and running a very tight ship along the way. In some instances, we had close to 60 players at training, and he managed this with aplomb with everyone getting their turn.
Benno was much loved by all at the club and I can personally speak to the fact that he returned that love in abundance. He treasured his time at PAOCCC and he will be sorely missed by all.
Regards,
Ben Lobban
PAOCCC Secretary
