PAOCCC took on Salisbury West from the Para Districts competition, who had defeated Para Vista from the Churches & Community competition to go through to this final. PAOCCC won the toss and batted first and Matt Christophers and Ben Hook took the game away from Salisbury West in the early stages with some classy stroke play, finding the boundary on regular occasions. Salisbury West were never really in the hunt in reply to our 192 and we were comfortable winners. The club won $1,500 in prize money, kindly donated by SAMCA. Scores are below:-
PAOC 3 for 192 defeated Salisbury West 8 for 133
Ben Hook 71 (9 x 4's, 2 x 6's)
Matt Christophers 69 (9 x 4's)

Statewide T20 Final
Following our win earlier in the day, Meadows comfortably accounted for Stansbury in the Country Final. We expected a much closer contest in the final and with Hooky out injured and the loss of Christophers and Brinsley early (2 for 7), it was up to the middle order to respond to ensure that we stayed in the game. Partnerships of 75 between Tyler (32) and M. Richardson (45) and 37 between Clayfield (17) and Walsh (20) saw us to 9 for 149 off our 20 overs. Needing 7.5 an over, Medows were reasonably placed at 2 for 56 off 9 overs but lost regular wickets from then on to finish 9 for 116 off their 20 overs and we were the Statewide Champions! The club won a bat signed by the Australian Cricket Team from the 2009 South African tour for its efforts. Scores are below:-
PAOC 9 for 149 defeated Meadows 9 for 116
Michael Richardson 45 (29) including 4 x 4's
Sam Tyler 32 (30) including 2 x 4's
Jordan Walsh 20 (16)
Drew Clayfield 17 (16)
Tom Brinsley 4 for 13 (3 overs)
Sam Tyler 1 for 8 (2 overs)
Tim Boucaut 1 for 14 (2 overs)
Matt Thomas 1 for 18 (4 overs)
Sam Richardson 1 for 25 (4 overs)
Thanks for SAMCA, SACA, Adelaide Oval and the umpires for giving us this opportunity. Let's hope the competition is here to stay for future years.
