On Sunday 12 December, PAOCCC past player, Venkat celebrated his 40th birthday. He marked the occasion by putting on a typical Aussie BBQ and beers. As expected there was his unique touch, with a delicious spread of Indian curries.

In attendance, as seen in the photo above, with Venkat, were; Andrew Heitmann (1987/88-present), Chris Davies (1995/96-1998/99 & 2000/01), Tom Naffine (1997/98-2007/08), Shane Roberts (1992/93-present) and Raj Malhotra (2000/01-2004/05), while Alex Marantos (1998/99-present) had left just before the photo was taken.

It was a great day to catch up with a number of past players and Venkat reminisced about his playing days at PAOCCC. One particular story was about the game in which he took his first and only catch for the Club, he then produced the actual match ball which was signed by all the team.

Venkat passes on his best wishes to all his past team mates still playing.
