Last season Andrew "Olly" Olsson notched up his 300th game for PAOC Cricket Club, and subsequently the Olsson family passed the 600 game mark collectively.

This past Saturday Olly played in the PAOCCC E Grade 1-day side with both his sons; Charlie and Henry!

In doing so, Olly is following in his father's footsteps, as Murray played in the same side as his two sons; Andrew and David. Whilst captaining a side in the 71/72 and 73/74 seasons, Murray got his two sons out to fill in during the school holidays!


How many other father-son combinations has the Club seen over the years?

Murray Olsson - Andrew & David
- all three played in the same team for the Club on a few occasions in 71/72 & 73/74, when Murray as captain got them to fill in for his side while they were still at school.
- all three played at the Club again in 76/77, 77/78 & 84/85 (but I don't have the breakdown of grades played)!?
- they also played in the same side during the "Past versus Past Day" up at Tregenza Oval during the 1995/96 season.

Dean Crowe - Greg
- I'm told that in Dean's last season in 78/79, he played a few games with his son Greg.

Ian Rudd - Andrew & Chris
- 84/85 Ian & Andrew may have played in the A's together?
- 88/89 Ian & Andrew may have played in the B's and/or C's together?
- Chris said he never got to play cricket with Ian, but said that Andrew may have.

James "Jim" Freemantle - James
- They played one game together in the 2-day E Grade side in 91/92.

Mark King - Peter
- They certainly played a number of games together at Old Colls and the whole of the 95/96 season after Old Colls merged with PAOCCC.

Phil Glatz - Tim
- They played a few games together in 96/97 and 98/99.

Phil Sanders - Blake
- They played one game together in 2000/01, Phil's brother Greg also played in this game.

Greig Graham - Nathan
- They played a few games together in 02/03 and 03/04.

Gary Hugo - Nick
- this never happened despite Gary talking it up a few times!

Tim Hall - Josh
- Tim has ruled this out as he says he was never any good at cricket and his playing days are over!

Peter Brooks - Nick
- will Peter make a return to playing now Nick is out, before he ends up playing higher!?
