Congratulations BA on a great achievement!

Club legend Ben "BAD" Allen will be playing his 150th game for the club this weekend when he takes to the field in the B's against Woodville Rechabites. This goes with the milestone of 250 club wickets which he reached in Round 1 this year. This places him fifth on the list of leading wicket takers for the club since 1984/85 and with some good luck, Ben should sit third on this list by the end of the season (Sam Pontifex - 262 wickets, Anthony Draper - 265 wickets)

Ben is a life member of the club and last year became a 15 year life member of the ATCA. He will be playing his 138th 2-day game and has also played 24 1-day games.

At the start of this season, Ben had career statistics of:

148 innings, 47 not outs, 1,250 runs @ 12.38.
* This includes a highest score of 85 in approximately 1996/97 (controversially given out LBW by Nick Fenwick). Ben also has the most not outs for the club since 1984/85 and is renowned for his ability to play the sweep shot.

1792.4 overs, 392 maidens, 249 wickets @ 21.39
* This includes best bowling of 8 for 33 in 2002/03, which are the best figures recorded at the club since Simon Butler took 9 for 38 in 1990/91.
