A-Grade captain, Chris Drew picked up his 100th club wicket on the weekend during his spell of 2 for 31 off 9 overs in the C-Grade. Chris has been a consistent performer with the ball in the A-Grade over the past five or six seasons and looks forward to taking plenty more wickets this year. His stats now read:

601.1 overs, 109 maidens, 100 wickets @ 19.79, Best Bowling: 6 for 24

On top of his 2 for 31, Chris also smashed 94 off 93 balls in 95 minutes. This included 58 off his last 24 balls faced, no doubt one of the quickest club 50's seen in recent times (apart from Ben Cunningham's usual knocks!). Chris has now amassed:
