Johnnie Walker Progress Night, it's back!

Monday, 28th February 2005
The club is now taking nominations for the second Johnnie Walker Progress Night.
JOHNNIE WALKER PROGRESS AWARD
Winners Selection Criteria
The award recognises a player who has gone beyond the expectations of themselves, their team mates or the viewing public. It celebrates a player who has made significant personal strides or achieved a feat that most would have thought unattainable.
The player that receives this award should embody this spirit and might demonstate this by:
- An action, emotion or expression that brings about a pivotal moment of inspiration or 'putting ones body on the line'
- Keeping their head down even when the going gets tough. He or she would pick themselves up and get on with it to triumph over adversity
- Being recognised as a team player and not for individual merit, the unsung hero of a team, someone whose passion and commitment to the game is unfaltering.
- Reviving their own spirit of the game to deft surmounting odds.
Please contact Michael Richardson if you wish to make a nomination for this award.

Date: Saturday 5 March 2005
Time: 7pm till late
