A and B Grade flags
As they say time flies and this year marks 10 years since the 2003/04 A and B-Grade premierships. Who could forget:
- The heartbreak for captain Chris Drew who broke his hand in the final minor round game.
- The 123 partnership for the 6th wicket between Andrew "GM" Ramsay and Chris "Show us your permit" Watson
- Marcus "Bowler's name" Wills bowling every one of the 44 overs from one end!
- The day 2 conditions including an umbrella at drinks, the crowd heckling and Bob "Stormy" Waters having to put up with the Pembroke spectators
- Michael Richardson and Phil Schultz's 100 run opening stand in the B-Grade
- Premiership celebrations at the Queen's Head and the Oxford including Matt Christophers' antics
We have planned a 10 year reunion on Saturday 15 March 2014 (4 weekends time) to celebrate the occasion. It coincides with the final minor round game for PAOCCC. From 7:00pm and there will be Round 9 presentations at 7:30pm which will include a recap of the two premierships. The club will hopefully be able to put on some drinks on the night.
It would be great to catch up with you all, in particular those who are no longer playing (Wills, Christophers, Goodwin, Ramsay, A. Richardson, Ramsay, Watson, Read, M. Butler, Hugo, King, M. Richardson, Schultz, Stirling, Tanner)
